Growing Working Forests for Hawaii’s Future

Growing Working Forests for Hawaii's Future was the title and theme of the Hawaii Forest Industry Association symposium on June 6, 7 & 8, 2001. The symposium was held at the Kaua'i Coconut Beach Resort in Kapa'a, HI.

The topics included:

Site Selection & Preparation Species Selection Tree Seed Quality Economic Analysis Fertilization Tree Protection Markets Regulations Government Incentive Programs Updates on property tax, certification, research

The symposium proceedings may be ordered by non-registrants by printing out the registration form and filling out the proceedings order section. The form and $8 to cover shipping and handling (checks can be made out to HFIA) should be mailed to HFIA according to the instructions on the form.
